(further referred to as fishNETad)

fishNETad makes sure your WordPress software, Theme, and Plugins are all up-to-date, secure and provided by safe and reputable developers, followed by regular maintenance and backups.

  • One (1) session of updates per month to WordPress core files, plugins, and theme updates as required.
  • Monitoring your website’s functionality on a bi-weekly basis to ensure that everything is working as it should and upgrade where necessary.
  • During maintenance updates, an Under Maintenance landing page will be activated.
  • Plugins Replacement/Recommendation: Some plugins may become outdated and no longer work with the newest version of your website software. Plugins may need upgrading to accommodate the newer version, or become obsolete with the improvements in the website software. If necessary, a new plugin will be installed and set-up. Agreement does not include cost of “premium” plugin purchases or extensive set-up projects (i.e. a new ecommerce system, extensive design changes, etc.). You will be informed beforehand if additional cost is required.
  • Contacting website hosting provider to provide support if any issue is believed to be caused by hosting. Working with hosting provider to diagnose and fix any issues if caused by hosting.
  • Removal of malware, spam and malicious code if found.
  • Monthly backups of your site, so that it may be fully restored in case of loss.
  • Edit, revise, content and images affecting website layout/display issues of original website content, caused by any WordPress, Theme or Plugin updates. This does not include new content requirements (please see point 8).

A “All-in-One WP Migration” Plugin developed by ServMask will be installed on your WordPress Website and will be set up to process:

  • One (1) Monthly Full Backup

A maximum of two (2) of the most recent Client backup files will be stored on a secure hard drive located at fishNETad.

Backup files are available to Client at anytime for any reason, upon request to fishNETad at studio@fishnet.co.za

  • Backups will be performed Monthly and concluded no later than the 28th of each month.
  • Maintenance will be performed Monthly and concluded no later than the 28th of each month.
  • Conflicts caused by any WordPress, Themes, Plugin Updates will be addressed immediately and Client will be advised of estimated date of resolution, if conflicts are not resolved the same day.

The WordPress Website Service Level Agreement fee will be automatically billed monthly or annually, depending on what billing cycle Client has selected, by fishNETad.

Payments are due on presentation of invoice and can be made via EFT.

This agreement may be terminated with one (1) months notice, sent to fishNETad at studio@fishnet.co.za.

The focus of this WordPress Website Service Level Agreement is to audit your website to make sure your WordPress software, Theme, and Plugins are all up-to-date, secure and provided by safe and reputable developers, followed by regular maintenance and backups, so that your website runs smooth, safe and secure.

  • 8a: Conflict resolution, repairs, migrations, new website installation backups, due to errors or crashes caused by Client, malicious malware, viruses, hackers, any third party is not included in this agreement.
  • 8b: Enhancements / Additional Services: Any revisions, additions or redesign requested by Client for fishNETad to perform, that is not specified in this agreement, shall be considered “Enhancements / Additional Services” and will require a separate agreement and payment. fishNETad shall advise Client on any requested work that falls within these bounds.

Such “Enhancements / Additional Services” may include:

  • New or redesign of website pages or posts, extensive content updates, new or changes to web graphics.
  • New plugin installation and configuration.
  • Any extensive changes or updates to the website’s theme code, plugins or hosting required to improve the functionality, speed, stability, or security of the website.

During the duration of this contract, Client agrees that fishNETad will be the sole provider of maintenance services for the web site, and no other party will have access to or rights to change the web site. If a party other than fishNETad makes changes to the website, any errors or conflicts created that must be repaired by fishNETad will be charged for at our current hourly rate.

Although there are limitations to the guarantees fishNETad can provide, your satisfaction is very important. Please read and understand the limits of liability before subscribing to this service.

Although fishNETad strives for your website’s optimal performance and security, fishNETad did not build the WordPress software or plugins used on the website, nor are supplying the hosting platform it runs on.

For this reason, fishNETad does not represent, guarantee or warrant that the functions contained in these web pages or internet website will be uninterrupted, error-free, free from loss, corruption, attack, viruses, interference, hacking, or other security intrusions, and fishNETad disclaims any liability relating thereto.

To the extent not prohibited by law, in no event will fishNETad be liable to the client or any third party for any damages, including, but not limited to, any lost profits, lost savings, loss of data, business interruption, or incidental, consequential or special damages arising out of the operation of or inability to operate these web pages or website, however caused, even if fishNETad has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In the event fishNETad is unable to render its services due to events beyond its control e.g. building fire, riot, civil unrest, loss of equipment, loss of services (e.g. water, internet or electricity), key staff injury or death, pandemic, natural disaster, significant changes in legislation, etc. fishNETad will notify Client within 10 working days.

The below agreement form activates your agreement with fishNETad for a Basic Website Maintenance Package, which allows for one (1) hour of maintenance time per month.
